About
Sheway is a specialized Pregnancy Outreach Program providing comprehensive health and social service supports for women and people who use substances, are pregnant, or caring for infants and children in Vancouver. Located in the Downtown Eastside, Sheway offers assistance and counseling to pregnant women with support continuing up to 18 months after childbirth. The program provides a unique drop-in model (Monday-Friday, 9:15am-4pm) offering prenatal care, addiction medicine, counseling, housing assistance, parenting support, and other tailored health and social services. Sheway recognizes the complex needs of pregnant women dealing with substance use and provides compassionate, non-judgmental care to support healthy pregnancies and early parenting.
