About
Heartwood Centre for Women provides integrated residential treatment for women aged 19 and older, including members of Two-Spirit and gender-diverse communities across British Columbia, who face severe substance use and mental health challenges. With 30 inpatient beds located at BC Women's Health Centre in Vancouver, the program offers comprehensive care that may include counseling, skill development, wellness and nutrition groups, chronic pain management, and specialized group programs addressing trauma, substance dependency, and mental and physical health issues. As part of BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services, Heartwood provides province-wide access to specialized care that addresses the unique intersection of women's health, addiction, and mental wellness.
